Possibly the single most interesting perspective, and highly astute analysis, of Pelosi's action came not from a pundit or talking head, but a retired FBI agent on Tucker Carlson's show. His specialty was counter-terrorism. He pointed out the Dems, especially Pelosi's repeated desire for 'technology solutions.' This would send billion or trillions of dollars into the coffers of the Silicon Valley billionaires that are major funders or the DNC and the CA Dems in particular. It is her way to 'pay them back.' Carlson was as stunned by this obvious reason from her continuous full-throated demands for tech solutions that simply do not do the job. (I was just as stunned, and suddenly it all made sense.) Our current satellite system could be the 'eye in the sky - but no money to SV. She wants to fill her party supporter's coffers for decades as the latest tech would replace existing tech, etc - just like Microsoft's endless patches and updates. And they would be just as subject to hacking. I, Robot anyone?

Follow the money. The left would love nothing more than to give out money back to their donors which ultimately get funneled back full circle to them. Launder our money into their pockets and giving then more money for reelection.

On top of it all we know darn well that the technology will be used against us not on the border. They would love more surveillance on their political enemies not the border. They want to do what china is doing. Use technology to maintain power and control over enemies and the political narrative.

I know it's going down the rabbit hole but the James bond movie Spectre has a eerily similar plot.
