Pennsylvania non resident permit not accepted?

@masterswimmer i seen this .. i think was on the other site .. someone left NY and NY sent a letter to turn guns in since they weren't a resident of NY any more ..

And the gun owner laughed their ass off I hope.

Since NYS permit holders have more vetting that takes us to the secret clearance in the DOD and almost even much higher, we should be allowed everywhere in the US and this is the purpose of the national repriosity bill. FUDDs not doing anything again as FUDDs do. Stupid thinking such as I got a 30-06 but no pistols so no dog in the fight.

Hey Mo, you do know that my popo comment was a joke right? The NYSP jurisdiction kind of ends at the state line.

Try to convince them of that, they were committing I legal straw sales all over the country trying other harass FFL a few years ago. Doesn't the NYPD have offices in a bunch of foreign countries ?

Yea, that would happen!
I'll keep an eye out for the letter in the mail, then I'll be sure to send them right back up there most riki-tik!! I have them sitting at my LGS waiting for shipping orders from NYS on where to send them!!

Or NYS popo come to confiscate them sometime after 1/31/18 when they're notified you didn't re-register by the deadline.

Same here. I believe the reason is what I've been saying all along. The county sends them a paper when you move and some clown employed by the state decides if they'll update information in the system now or go on their lunch break.

They have old information and want you to update it. I've moved 3 times in the last 5 years since I bought my permanent residence. Dollars to donuts says that they sent the paper to the wrong address.

It was an answer to my post about not getting any recertification letter..a defined broken down explanation for the slower folk is..."I haven't received any recertification letter yet in my town and all I hear about that from the local government is silence"

AND my neighbor apparently got a letter last month. Told him to hold off sending it in until the last minute.
