Permit - Change of address query

Just wanted to post an update to this and thank everyone for their help

As earlier confirmed, Westchester wanted to remove my NYS permit immediately i moved

So, here is what i did;

Transferred my permit file from Westchester to Oneida County ($5)

Then today I had the appointment at Utica County Buildings to pick up my new Permit ($40)

This has been issued as UNRESTRICTED....................which i presume means full carry - very, very different from Westchester!!

All i need to do each year is provide evidence from CT that i have no convictions and i retain my NYS permit

So a great result all round, which now goes with my Unrestricted CT permit !!

not an update I expected to give

Oneida called yesterday and told me they issued the wrong permit and they had already withdrawn it

they are now speaking to the judge to decide the type of permit I will get , but it will NOT be unrestricted

I now need to wait and find out - totally crazy

can't wait till Amy 50cal Barret gets seated so we can end this BS ...

if you move it will be a 40 dollar fee to register to vote ... I'll leave it at that ..
