So this goes beyond no shirt no shoes. This is a discrimination period (.) It is no different from refusing service to a Jew, or a Black American or a brown eye one-horned flying purple people eater. What is next riding in the back of the bus?

A business can do whatever it wants. However, is this really the road we want to go down? If it's OK to deny someone service due to their health choices, does that mean a business in TX can deny service based on if someone had an abortion based on theirs?

Do we really want to go down this road? This is something people need to think through. This is a Pandora's box to open regarding power, health, freedom, and where the three intersect.

I do not equate the "No Mask, No Service" to people of minority groups, Yet.

I finished watching The Handmaids Tale the other day and it took till near the end of the third season to realize it was never about the children; it was always about the power.

When the government has the power and uses it the way they are right now, the people should be very afraid.

This is not about the masks, this is about the power. They are showing more and more each day that they, not the people, have the power.

I have had only a few small run-ins with the mask Nazi's. Not too many.

I have learned to be polite when told I need a mask. I reply with thank you, but I have a severe case of CFS. Seems to be working well.

I am sure I am not the only one with a case of CFS here.

The simpler solution is no one's health info is the business of anyone else. End of story. Solves this problem. Not the gov or anyone else.

I do have trouble breathing after about a half hour wearing masks. Bandana was always a go to for me if I had to.

I didn't say laws should be made forcing anyone. Even if we still have the right of free association, the ethical implications of discrimination based on health status should be considered. Do we want to go down that road? We can, but it won't be a fun one. Just because something is lawful doesn't mean there isn't an ethical layer we need to consider daily about how we want to conduct ourselves.

Yeah.. tell that to friends of mine and other members who've lost people to it, currently have so many they know hurting from it, and those who've survived it after horrific long hospital stays and left with permanent serious issues. I'd like to see you do that with a straight face. I'm so sick of this kind of shit. Personally, I'm concerned with those stories, not stories of whining about masks.
