Washington (CNN) - The FBI has fired Peter Strzok, an agent who was removed from the Russia probe last year for sending text messages disparaging President Donald Trump, Strzok's lawyer said Monday.

Aitan Goelman, Strzok's attorney, said FBI Deputy Director David Bowdich ordered the agent's termination on Friday. Goelman said that the deputy director's decision comes after the head of the office that normally handles disciplinary actions decided Strzok should instead face a demotion and 60-day suspension.

The President tweeted about the firing Monday afternoon, calling Strzok a "total fraud" and repeated his claim that there was no collusion nor that he obstructed justice.

"Agent Peter Strzok was just fired from the FBI - finally. The list of bad players in the FBI & DOJ gets longer & longer. Based on the fact that Strzok was in charge of the Witch Hunt, will it be dropped? It is a total Hoax. No Collusion, No Obstruction - I just fight back!" Trump wrote, adding in another tweet, "Just fired Agent Strzok, formerly of the FBI, was in charge of the Crooked Hillary Clinton sham investigation. It was a total fraud on the American public and should be properly redone!"

Facts are contrary to Strzok's attorney's press releases. When an FBI disciplinary board recommends 1) a reprimand, 2) a 60 day unpaid suspension, and 3) a significant demotion for senior members, it is a figurative career death sentence (board recommendations for immediate termination of senior career staff is essentially reserved for very serious criminal offenses) and in fact the Bureau is asking for a graceful resignation. Strzok did not have any class and forced the termination by a Deputy Director.

Peter Strzok is a proud husband and father, a veteran of the U.S. Army and counterintelligence Special Agent who spent more than two decades in a job he loved at the FBI.

Pete handled some of the agency’s most important cases, thwarting numerous attacks by foreign and domestic adversaries while being consistently promoted and frequently recognized for his skillful and independent work. In describing his 21 years at the FBI, The New York Times said, “He rose quickly through its ranks, earning a reputation within the bureau as one of its most savvy and reliable counterintelligence agents.”

But last week, in a decision apparently driven by political pressure, a senior FBI official chose to fire Pete — overruling the agency’s normal and independent process by rejecting the decision of the career professionals in the FBI’s disciplinary division. This has left him without income and facing considerable legal bills.

The nation saw Pete’s true character when he voluntarily testified before Congress on July 12th, 2018. Facing an inquisition that even a Fox News anchor said “felt like a public lynching,” he expressed regret for the pain he caused his family and for the harm caused by the weaponization of his words and, as reported by The Daily Beast, “issued a ringing defense of himself and his agency.”

Following his repeated Congressional testimony and a lengthy investigation, one thing is clear: Pete’s personal views never once influenced his professional actions. As The Washington Post reported, “Republicans have not been able to produce any evidence that Strzok or anyone else took any official action that was biased, unfair or inappropriate…” The Weekly Standard, a leading conservative magazine, declared that the “overwrought tale of bias” surrounding Pete is “just sound and fury.”

The real story behind this episode was made clear in an analysis by Slate, which said that “Peter Strzok is the hero we need.” The author wrote that Pete is an “honest law enforcement officer standing up to a corrupt president. And that’s why Trump attacked him. Trump doesn’t want Americans to...see what backbone looks like. I’ll tell you what it looks like: Republicans tried to put Strzok on trial, and Strzok put Trump on trial instead.”

Unlike those who typically become the focus of partisan investigations in Washington, Pete is not politically connected, he’s not a wealthy lobbyist and he’s not interested in using his notoriety for personal gain. Because of this, he doesn’t have deep pockets that allow him to pay for the significant legal bills he has incurred to defend himself and the FBI against these political attacks, or to easily cover the expenses incurred by his lost income.

When criminal charges are filed, hopefully the court scrutinizes these accounts and considers freezing them or raising bond judgements accordingly, just as they did with Zimmerman.

Scorned FBI Lover Lisa Page Torched Cheating FBI Partner Peter Strzok; “Lisa is on a Warpath”
In the end, Peter Strzok’s FBI lover Lisa Page “sold out” the FBI executive and divulged many improprieties he was involved in along with other FBI brass, according to FBI insiders.

Strzok was fired today from the FBI.

FBI insiders said Page, his former lover, was “instrumental in getting him terminated.”
“Lisa is on a warpath,” one former colleague said. “She is not done either.”

Fired FBI leaders Andrew McCabe, James Comey and other current FBI leaders like Bill Priestap could be on deck, according to officials familiar with Page’s congressional testimony in hearings and private sessions with her attorney.

Strzok, FBI sources said, is the target of several investigations.
And more could be on the horizon, according to Congressional investigators who spoke to True Pundit’s Thomas Paine.

Lisa Page is angry, according to her associates inside FBI HQ in D.C.


“Remember you guys (True Pundit) had the story where McCabe was going to burn down the FBI?” one agent said. “You may want to rewrite it for Lisa Page. I think she could bring it all down on their heads.”


That’s the word on the street. Page is angry and willing to testify against everyone linked to losing her FBI career.

If her House testimony is any indication, that spells trouble for the Deep-State Sanhedrin. After Page testified, True Pundit reported China had hacked Hillary Clinton’s emails when she was Secretary of State.

That is something James Comey and Robert Mueller — two former FBI chiefs spanning the time frame of the hacks — never told Congress. Why?

FBI Agent Peter Strzok was escorted from the building June 15th, two months ago, and his employment has been in administrative limbo -during a review- ever since. Today it is discovered that Strzok was fired last Friday, August 10th.

DC is so corrupt, you can see the fingerprints of media coordination even in the firing. Notice how ‘no-leaks’ from Friday to Monday in either June or today’s event. During the June three-day-delay/prep; Strzok coordinated the USA Today op-ed. During the current 3-day delay/prep; team Strzok put together a Trust Fund and Go Fund Me to take advantage of Peter Strzok’s martyrdom.

FBI Deputy Director David Bowditch was the official who fired Strzok. Following tradition, and because this is an FBI/Intelligence matter, the corrupt team around Strzok will be giving their side of events to the Washington Post. So the WaPo article has more details:
