My exact thought. The Germans cornered a monopoly on violence also, back in the 30's and obtained it democratically. How'd that work out?

Will make all the snowflakes here melt though as it does not fit the agenda! State Control Monopoly on "ANYTHING" is not ok. And is possibly a very good reason why our constitution notes that silly little phrase "Shall Not Be Infringed"...
