I started my first day of my second job doing gunsmithing for a shop out in Long Island today.
Was a pretty moderate day; cleaned up 14 assorted Glock 17, 17C, 19, and 19C's. The big issues with the Glocks were the aftermarket barrels had burrs from excessive use. Did some filing and and polishing on a wire wheel. Inspections before being listed to GB.
Also fixed some customer intakes like Remington 1100s and 1187s. Did some trigger/spring swaps for two P365 FCUs. Also fixed an SKS that was a used pick up for the shop.
Pays not fantastic but the crew is a great bunch of people.
All in all good days work.
Next week I have to unpack an Enfield No.4 out of cosmoline. NOT looking forward to that, lol.
