So I was thinking of getting a solid block of aluminum that is a 0% lower, attaching a pistol brace to it and then duct taping a 8inch barrel on top, spray painting it Barbie pink, and then submitting it to the ATF under their pistol brace ammensty. I'll even give it the serial number "ATF1SGAY

Does the president sign a joint resolution? I thought a joint resolution simply had to pass both houses of congress and has nothing to do with the president? It's not a law, its a resolution.
ETA: Nevermind, I just looked it up and Joint Resolutions are treated the same as a bill. The only exception is if the JR is to propose an amendment to the Constitution. Then it doesn't go to the president.

Finally. Someone with the balls to grant something nationwide. This is how it NEEDS to be done. Not the "oh it only applies to this circuit" or "you must belong to this organization" during a full moon on Wednesdays. This helps to reaffirm and hopefully solidify what we all already know. Now the ball is in the supreme court's... well court.
On another note. With all the games that are being played with our 2A rights I'd imagine many have tuned this stuff out and are doing pretty much whatever they want already. For instance I'm sure many have already gone with the attitude of "if I'm gonna be a felon with a pistol brace I may as well just put an actual stock on my now rifle."
