Pistol permit =CCW?

Here in Clinton County, they put a little red stamped line on most permits that says something about hunting, trapping, target shooting only. So I guess I can't concealed carry, huh?

That sucks.

Whats a sure-fire way to get that legally removed?

All NYS permits are concealed carry permits. Unless its premise. So you can carry as long as you're doing one of those activities. Just make sure you're always going to do those activities. I keep fishing rod with me at all times.

You have a CCW permit with administrative restrictions.

Yes, you can CCW regardless of if you are doing the activities listed or not.

It's the only quality, decent gun I have. Rest are broken down, old, rusty junk my father-in-law left me. Small 22's, a Montgomery Ward side-by-side 20 guage, a little Stevens bolt action 22, and my wife's VERY old Colt Police Positive 38. Absolutely NO blue left on it, and the hammer pin is so loose, it only fires half the time!

I had to sell a junk SKS, a rusted Norinco AK, a worn out Taurus 92, and a non-American 22 sat night spec I found in the lake! Then, I was blessed enough to have a friend at Colt rebuild this old 45, do a fantastic trigger job on it, then did the whole thing in Colt's Royal Blue finish.

I am in awe of the damn thing. It nestles perfectly under my left arm. (Yeah, I'm a big guy. I can easily conceal a full size 45 under my left arm! And cover it with my 6XL tent-shirts!)

What a coincidence, I am actually a NYS certified disposal facility for such "junk!"

I don't know what RF85 from Anderson is, but I wouldn't trade that colt for any AR, not even one made out of Natalie Portman's vagina.
