How will SCOTUS striking down NY carry permit restrictions effect law abiding citizen who want Pistol Permits for the home?
Currently, the pistol permit in NY (Suffolk Co) is an arduous process.

You’ll still need a permit, but it won’t have restrictions as far as I understand.

It will still be the same. That is the dirty little secret. A "premises" permit is supposed to be shall issue.
Now call your county and ask them for a premises permit. Once they stop laughing, you may get an answer.
