Pistol permit in process with judge

Hello, anyone know how Judge Neary is for Westchester county? I emailed the clerks office and they told me my pistol permit application was dropped off at the court about a week ago and it’s with Judge Neary anyone has had any experience with that judge?

Lots of Weatchester guys on here and not much food mentioned about it.
Did you apply for a full carry permit or is it a restricted permit? Right now they can’t deny you unless you have a demonstrable issue o prevent you from getting your permit.

It doesn’t matter who the judge is. What matters is their case load. The license is already approved. They just have to sign off on it.

What ever you do DO NOT CALL THE JUDGES OFFICE LOOKING FOR YOUR PERMITT. JUST WAIT IT OUT ..IT CAN TAKE 5 6 MONTHS OR MORE. JUST THE FACT IT MADE IT TO HIS OFFICE MEANS YOU PASSED THE DETECTIVES INVESTIGATION . THEY WILL NOT SEND UP AN APPLICATION UNLESS IT PASSES THEIR INVESTIGATION. YOUR ALMOST THERE. BE PATIENT COOKIE YONKERS .

Thank you I will wait it out I was hoping sooner when I was on Reddit and a lot of people saying they receive there permits in 2 weeks after the check cashed so far it’s been 39 days since my check cashed. I didn’t know about the process for judges. But thanks for giving me hope on it almost thought I would be denied.

Just as a follow up.. i filed for my full carry upgrade 2 weeks after decision i have Armed guard license with all the training required for that 47 hour live fire 16 hour and 8 hour.. so im good as far as training requirements . Like you my paperwork is in judges office for 5 months now. Pistol unit told me all the judges have hundreds of these conversions and the new filers that rushed to apply befour 9 2 deadline. Besides the judges are still working cases.. its luck of the draw. For both of us .. it will work out. Let me know how it goes.. cookie Yonkers..

Congrats for you.. Its 6 months now and my file is in Judge Debenis office. WESTCHESTER COUNTY. ! And i Have Armed Guard Cert.! And all the training and A NRA Certified RSO. 6 months. ! Still waiting. I was sorta warned do not call his office ..so i will not ...I probably hold the record here.. i applied for FC upgrade 2 weeks after decision. Check cashed 2 weeks after. . HEY. I JUST PURCHASED A BOOK. THE LAW OF SELF DEFENSE!! EVeryone reading this should get this book. Im now second guessing if i really want to carry 247 if i get FC . And what will happen if i ever pull the trigger!! This is serious and something most all of us have no clue what we will be in for God forbod we ever had to discharge our weapon.. even just pulling it out in the hopes of letting the other guy know.. can get you 10 years.! GREAT BOOK.. ! PLEASE LOOK INTO IT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. ITS.

You work at Pionner Shooting center? I bought 3 pistols from Smoke and gun Shop. As a matter of fact. I'm waiting for my voucher to pick up a handgun I bought 4 weeks ago.
