Pistol permit letter

Quick question- what exactly did/would you put in your letter to the judge? I'm assuming I should keep it as brief as possible? I was planning on writing how I've lived in orange county most my life, I plan on taking several handgun courses in order to be a responsible gun owner, and that I'm a super duper good person. That's it. Don't ham it up too much.

All the judges now are supposed to be issuing unrestricted permits unless there's a reason not to.

Probably best to leave out the 3 trips to the head shrinker and the time the neighbors dog was talking about how the democrats are destroying this country.
