Plea: RE Politics & Law Forum

I appreciate the Politics & Law forum and its power for all of us to learn more about our RKBA. Its my favorite forum here, and I believe in the political environment we are currently have in NY that its is a very important part of this site.

However, in my not so humble opinion, the signal to noise ration on political and legal matters that effect our RKBA here in NY and nationally is getting drowned out with other, more general political and legal matters.

I respectfully request that the Politics & Law forum be renamed to something like "RKBA Politics & Law" or "Second Amendment Politics & Law."

To go along with that, I would request that a new forum something along the lines of "General Politics & Law Matters" be made for topics that are not directly or tightly related to matters dealing with our RKBA. Personally I AM interested in hearing the political and legal views of other members on a host of topics, but I do believe that a separation of RKBA related Politics & Law from other more general topics would REALLY help keep this site on target.

There is a LOT of information on Politics & Law right now to keep up with.

In no way should my request be considered an attempt to stymie anyone's speech on topics other than the RKBA.

I simply believe that RKBA related Politics & Law is vital enough to keep that signal very strong on this fine forum, and appreciate the efforts of the site admins and moderators for making a very good platform where we are mostly free to speak our minds.

As long as there is still a place for the vast majority of the discussion that the forum members here enjoy participating in, I think splitting that forum is probably a good idea.

When most of your discussion is occurring in a single forum, it probably needs to be divided.
