Please Fix Lighting Bolt

Now that we have light mode, all is good except for the lightning bolt linking to what’s new instead of new posts that are tailored to the user.

Can that be fixed and have the lightning bolt linked to what’s new?

Because when you click on the lightning bolt now, it links to threads that you already viewed.
