I have a mental check list I go through before I leave or go anywhere and I give myself a quick pat down to make sure everything is in place.

I simply can’t comprehend these stories. Four years in the Army, a year of that armed overseas, and 16 as a cop means that I’ve deuced a hell of a lot while armed, on and off duty. Never once have I removed my firearm from my holster or my holster from my belt to do so. Wtf?
