A retired GA state trooper on another forum had this to say..................

"Why stop there, how's about a BJ while you're down there... The cops that did that are the lowest of the low and don't deserve to be on any PD."

Cary is in Wake county, as is Raleigh. Wake county has a definite tilt leftward.

I am a cop. I have been a cop in various forms for many years. I have never based my work ethic or lack thereof on the color of skin or background. I treat all suspects, crims, mutts and general public the same. When working and in regular life, I treat all the way I am treated. I can do at 0% and hit 100% faster than many can blink an eye.

When I first clicked on this thread, I was at 0%, just chilling in the weapons room. I watched about eight seconds of this video and I hit about 85%. I had to stop watching and have some lunch. (Three eggs, some left over mini potatoes, peppers and mushrooms.)

Now that I have had a decent meal, I watched the rest of it. Holy fuck mother! What in the fuck are those assholes doing? Pitful excuse fro cops and more pitiful as people. What in the gods name are they doing? If those were my co-workers, I would be furious. I would never allow them to live this incident down.

I can promise all this: I would never do anything like this, I would never take a knee. I would never say I am sorry. I would never be ashamed because I am white. I would never say sorry for being a cop. I would never.....

What a fucking disgrace.

This is why I say that this country is done over and over. It is not my country. Not anymore. Not worth fighting for. It has been severely infected from all angles. From criminals, overreaching cops, ignorant pansy cops like the ones above, corrupt politicians, corrupt judges, greedy corporations, mentally ill people who mutilate their sex organs, ignorant youth, propaganda teaching professors, ect.

And it’s only going to get worse. It’s definitely not the country that George Washington and his brothers built. Not even close.

This has nothing to do with religion. It is about subservience. Jesus cleaned the disciples' feet. Pretty sure that black guy didn't see the cops as a proxy for Jesus.

I get that but my point is nowhere in the video did the feet washing get reciprocated. It was not a brotherly gesture; it was one of knee-bending deference.

I also think this notion of apologizing for things a person hasn't done is extremely dangerous because it's one step removed from confessing to crimes one hasn't committed.
