LEOs like ABG, and GP, are certainly smaller in numbers but it doesnt hurt to try.
Years ago i had a flat on the side of the taconic after a weekend upstate shooting. I had the rear hatch opened with my gun cases sitting there when a trooper pulled up and helped me change my flat, he saw the gun cases and didnt ask about them at all. This was shortly after the unsafe act was passed too. If he was an anto gun gestapo type he would have asked to see them, and likely given me a hard time, but he didnt. So good guys are out there (be it few in numbers).
