I hope for that officer's sake he had a bodycam and it was on. And that it wasn't white on black or there will be more riots even if the whole thing was caught on camera.

This happened about 1/4 mile from my house.

The radio transaction was released today and it sounded like it was 100% justified. They recovered a 9mm from the perp. You can hear that on the radio transaction. The New Rochelle PD does not have a history of abuse. According to what I have read, the last time the NRPD shot someone was in 2013 so nobody can accuse the NRPD of abuse of authority.

New Rochelle was quiet for the last 2 days so I guess everyone agrees this was a justified shooting.
