They thew the robot into the house. So they don't know the shape of the thing they are trained to operate, transported to the house, carried to the door, and tossed in? If there is *anything* they should be able to identify in someones hand it's this.Most of the time I agree with you but not this time Hoss. You can CLEARLY see he hands his hands up when he came to the door and when they fired on him. Maybe they saw the robot in his hands.
1. Should've identified it wasn't in fact a weapon. Just because he has something in his hands doesn't make it a gun.
2. Even if it was a gun, with his hands raised he can't point / fire it at officers. No threat.
Also the cops responded to shots fired *hours* later? What do they think the shooter is going to do? Hang around? Yeah, because that's what criminals do.. they shoot someone and pitch a tent overnight right where it happened.
