I showed this photo to my Chinese stepson and he had no idea of this person.... Only in Hong Kong and the west is this feat known. After that night riots broke out Most of beijing was shut down and it took the army days to clear the streets The people fought against the army without any guns.

This shows a lot of the rioting however it is behind a paywall.
I know people that were living there at the time heard some of the stories. That is all I will say . Even today it is very dangerous to even mention the events. .
