They're not wrong.

Emotions are a more useful weapon.

They have dumbed down the populace enough that they can no longer evaluate facts, so they can be manipulated via emotions.

That's why we're losing. We're trying to argue facts and logic against people who aren't willing to look at them, and just follow wherever the emotions lead.
