The difference was that Obama's FBI deliberately created a fictitious news story out of whole cloth, for the purpose of deliberately giving that story to WaPo to publish verbatim, then deliberately used that published news article to deliberately commit perjury and a fraud upon the court, for the purpose of getting a fraudulent 702 warrant against Trump.
