Not defending Benchmade but read the FB posts. They claim to have a close relationship with the Oregon city PD and we’re doing them a favor. The guns were scheduled for destruction anyway after turn ins and trial adjudication. They were not confiscated.

Unless more info made available to the contrary this isn’t as big a deal as people are making it IMO.

They're helping the PD do something most gun enthusiasts believe is reprehensible and wasteful. Not a good way to win favor with customers.
