Please note, I used my free speech to express my opinion of him and his despicable use of a picture of a young man receiving his father's flag. That's boy's name is Christian Golczynski. His father was a fellow Marine, Staff Sergeant Marcus Golczynski. Staff Sergeant Golczynski was killed by enemy fire on March 27, 2007 in Anbar province Iraq. Christian was 8 years old at the time.

Just because we have the First Amendment to the Constitution doesn't mean one is protected from ridicule or insult by another citizen as a consequence of one's speech. It simply prohibits the government from curtailing citizens' speech (in most cases).

THIS! They may possibly get the kid for a misdemeanor of having a rifle over state lines, although I don't think so. But, given that this idiot chased him down and physically attacked him with a skateboard that could certainly be a deadly weapon as the picture clearly shows him striking him in the head with it, AND was then shot by the kid, - I see a clear cut case of self defense. AND, the same goes for the other two that attacked him. There may not be pictures of the guy he shot in the head who had been trying to attack him, but my recollection is that is other evidence of the attack by the head shot guy.

As for the guy who got his arm nearly shot off (Lefty, HA!), the picture of him still holding his handgun that had been pointed at the kid is also a classic!

I fully expect those pictures to be used at trial, and IMHO, they are clear examples of why he defended himself, and should get off.

My prediction is a conviction on the misdemeanor possession while underage charge, and time served.

I'm not super confident in that, but it's my prediction.

I saw someone post if an adult gave it to him and on that private property he was defending he could be good. After that the natural right to self protection takes over once he was assaulted. No different than you not having a permit and using someone else’s pistol to save your life. There would be no charge because you were in imminent danger.
