Lance Corporal Simon Moloney, the English Army Sniper was shot in the neck in Afghanistan in 2013. After a medic stemmed the bleeding and Maloney carried on fighting for 90 minutes. He was awarded Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his bravery in action.
