Congress specifically exempted themselves from insider trading laws.

"Rules for thee and not for me".

Seems like a violation of the equal protection clause to me, but nobody would ever enforce that.

IMHO, allowing a profession to be an exemption to a criminal statute is very much a violation of the constitution.

Anything should either be a crime for everyone, or no one, it shouldn't matter how you earn your paycheck.
