We're still at war with North Korea, only agreement is a protracted cease fire...It's only treason if committed during a war, but I'm not sure there is anything preventing congress from retroactively declaring a war...
OfC we weren't in a declared war with the Soviets, but that didn't stop us from executing the Rosenbergs, so maybe it doesn't matter.
If we've got Soldiers on the Ground with ammunition issued, we are at war, and there are places all around the World where US Troops can be found...Treason is treason.
