Also not a right: possession of ammunition by an alien admitted under a nonimmigrant visa (2 Mexicans caught with 180K rounds of mixed .308 and 7.62 in Colorado, see story on the Gateway Pundit)The Bill of Rights does not apply to everyone in the world and not to wholly to all who are in the USA illegally. Those who are here with a green card or a visa have specific rights and restrictions and can be ejected/deported for not respecting them. They (illegals) don't have the right to vote or the right to keep and bear arms. They (illegals) have the right to be deported or to self deport. They (illegals) have the right to be detained and arrested and held for breaking the law by entering the USA illegally. They don't have the right to tax payer funded legal representation, or tax payer funded benefits like Medicaid or Social Security.
It does though. The only thing in this post you mentioned thats ACTUALLY in the Bill of Rights is "keep and bear arms". And the American People have swallowed and accepted unconstitutional laws restricting that right for many years. It should be extended to everyone within the border, same as all the others. Like Due Process. Like Cruel and Unusual Punishment. Like Self Incrimination, free speech, free religion, speedy trial (hello J6'ers...). All of it.The Bill of Rights does not apply to everyone in the world and not to wholly to all who are in the USA illegally. No one said or even insinuated that.
A Right we allow government to trample doesnt somehow make it not a Right. Also not a right: possession of ammunition by an alien admitted under a nonimmigrant visa (2 Mexicans caught with 180K rounds of mixed .308 and 7.62 in Colorado, see story on the Gateway Pundit)
