POUGHKEEPSIE – A shooting at a Poughkeepsie Housing Authority complex nicknamed "The Bricks" has sent a 22-year-old man to MidHudson Regional Hospital with several gunshot wounds.
Poughkeepsie Police Captain Rich Wilson said his agency was dispatched to 120 Hudson Avenue, Building 4 at 10:44 a.m. on Tuesday for multiple reports of gunshots. An officer on scene in moments triaged the victim until EMTs from the Poughkeepsie Fire Department and Mobile Life Support Services arrived and took over life-saving measures and transported the patient to the hospital.
