I live in the Utica/Rome area. Wondering where you guys buy your powder and what the cheapest place is, or if you buy online. I am in need of some bullseye. I tried Basspro website (I have bought from there a few times) to ship to store but its 34 bucks for a lb of bullseye...that seems like it is high.

Midsouth has bullseye in stock for $22/lb, $154 for 8#: Alliant Bullseye Smokeless Pistol Powder 8 Lb

Recobs has it even cheaper, $122 for 8#: Browsing Store - BULLSEYE 8# ALLIANT

No sales tax, but hazmat fee...so buy a bunch and be stocked up. For example, Recob's will ship up to 48# per hazmat or you could do a lower amount and buy a bunch of primers.

Actually, powder is on sale this week till the 12th at 10% off. Bullets are 15%.

The problem is not necessarily who is cheapest but " Who has it in stock".

Another source is Sharpshooters in Pulaski . They carry a decent selection and pricing is on par with box stores.

Hazmat adds around $28 to the order plus shipping charges. Some online places offer free shipping. Sometimes free Hazmat as well.

Midsouth has Bullseye for $22.02 /lb $154.11/8lb but they have it in stock.

I do buy at runnings too that is where I got my last pound. Interesting how they take your name and address tho.

I did not know it was 10% off this week I will have to stop in and see what they have in stock.

Locally I buy from AX Tactical and Franks in canastota. Neither of them have much of a selection and Franks price is high. So I usually end up saving and buying 8#'s online.

Not all of them do.

Usually $25 is the going rate for that powder around here. I think Varget gets $29 nowadays, but that's about as expensive as I've seen.

Last time I was at Running's they were out of powder and only had Remington primers. I didn't feel like changing from CCI for minimal savings. I think if S&B ever go back on sale I'll buy some of those in bulk to try.

Keep your eyes peeled for on line specials. The last powder I bought Cabela's had Tight Group on sale for $17 and change with Free shipping. Their hazmat fee is only $20. I'm still working through that batch.

Do they come to the Syracuse show. Last time I went there was next to none reloading supplies.

I believe " Nick" is North East Reloading ( Featured!! Northeast Target and Shooting Supply www.nereloading.com ) .
He does the Syracuse show but I don't remember powder. He does have tons of primers, brass & lead .

Just got back from Runnings - they're only a few minutes away. They have 6K of the CCI 500 primers as well as 200, 250 , 300, 400 and some Remingtons ( not many).
No Bullesye.

The one in Rome does sell $28.99 per 1K. You just have to gather up 10 of the singles. Maybe ill take a drive there.

I want to buy a bulk order but I need to convince the wife. It sucks when you run out of primers, powder and bullets all at the same time haha. All I have left is my magnum powder and some H335.

Runnings actually has inventory online now, I just check their website. NO bullseye tho. Wonder if I can find a substitute. I do like bullseye tho in my 9mm and .38/.357 mag.
