Premises permit ?

Considering getting a premises permit. I am out on the east end of suffolk.
Question is do you still need permission every time you want to buy a new pistol and does the pistols get recorded to your permit like on a CCW?

Every pistol is logged on every permit and your permit needs to be amended prior to getting your gun from the FFL.

You need a semi auto rifle permit now so stick with shotguns if you’re buying. I’m not sure I’m getting the semi auto endorsement just because I don’t really want them to know more.

Nothing stopping you from purchasing a long gun in a state that doesn’t restrict person to person sales.

Actually there is and it’s called the CCIA law in NYS. Now I don’t care what you do but you need the license to purchase or take possession of a semi auto rifle in NYS. Again I don’t care what you do but at least put the facts/laws out there for the OP and others.

That doesn’t address out of state purchases of non semi auto rifles or any shotguns. We weren’t speaking about semi vs. not…
