Depends. Depends on what mask you use, how it fits on your face, what materials your mask is made of, how your droplets are projected whether via forceful cough or just casual talking, ect. Lots of factors vary the results.
I already posted a study done by Duke University’s that shows the effectiveness of different types of masks in blocking droplets and the projection of the droplets that escaped. You probably ignored it. Similar studies have been done by others via laser that have gotten similar results.

Surgical and 3 layer cotton faired the best in limiting the projection of respiratory droplets. Cone type N95 masks did okay but they are designed for the inhale rather then the exhale.

If you want to learn, you need to watch them. It varies. They show distance for talking, coughing, sneezing, and all of that varies based on what facial coverings are used.
Or you can just not watch them and continue arguing which is what I believe you want to do anyway. You do not want to learn or chance being proven wrong that masks do not work at all.

What are you talking about? I have said numerous times that droplets come in many sizes. The smaller ones that stay suspended in air are aerosols. Aerosols come in many sizes. The larger droplets with higher viral loads which are also too small to see, do not stay suspended for very long. What do you need numbers for?
And is laughable that studies from numerous accredited universities and organizations from all over the world are deceptive. Russia is deceptive. Italy is deceptive. Ect. They are all in cahoots. Putin is in cahoots with the European NWO. China is as well right?

Yes, "droplets" come in all sizes.
But yours magically change size as needed.
Large enough to be affected by a generic mask but too small to see or feel hitting your face ?
Large enough to travel ballistically a significant distance, but small enough to float in the air and not immediately fall to the ground ?
There is no "droplet" size that will do all of those things. And a mix of "droplet" sizes will fail to behave the way you describe because each "droplet" will fail at some point along the chain from an infected airway to an uninfected one.

You do realize that the larger ones are the most infectious right? You do realize that the smaller, lighter ones that remain suspended for a time period aren’t infecting people in large numbers right? Put 2 and 2 together on why that is. I’ll help you. Viral loads and immune systems. The droplet size determines the amount of viral load that it can carry. The viral load and your immune system determines whether the introduced virus or number of viruses can replicate fast enough to overwhelm your system.
It’s why people with strong immune systems still get infected on planes when sitting in close proximity of an infected. It’s why people with weaker immune systems away from the infected 10 or 20 seats down away from large droplet range but within floating aerosol range don’t get infected. Or are you saying that the whole plane gets infected? Row 1 to 43 along with the stewardess and both pilots because those aerosols will get you anyway and no matter the viral load, you will get infected. Right? Is that what you are saying?
Please. What you say makes no sense and you know it. It is proven that masks capture droplets. Some more than others. Those are droplets that aren’t being inhaled by someone else depending on how far they are from the infected or the amount of time they are close to an infected. You only say it to say it for an anti government agenda when no one here or in the country in large numbers for the most part agree with government overreach just like you do. We agree with you that the government is taking advantage. You do not have to try to convince us that certain masks do not work when it’s proven that they do just so we can be against what the government is doing. We already are against it.
You don’t need to try to trick us into believing that N95’s offer no protection at all for the user and cotton and surgical do not capture any droplets at all to try to get us on your side to oppose an overreaching government. We already oppose it.

The point is that either small drops matter that the mask isn’t helping with, or large drops matter that you don’t *need* a mask to stop.

All people are getting infected left and right in supermarkets, hospital waiting rooms, trains, planes, and buses with Spat’s super, highly infectious aerosol droplets that are so small and make it through a mask regardless of it not happening and regardless of the studies conducted by various heath organizations from all over the world. They are all wrong and trying to mislead us.
I should have listened and been infected by Spat’s super aerosols when in semi close contact with coworkers who were confirmed positive while riding masked in elevators with them and in locker rooms when I took off my mask to get dressed.
What you say is beyond a joke now. Evidence proves that what you say is not correct. Maybe if you convince your aerosols to be a little stronger, they may work as you say.

Right now the total cases claimed are a bit over 2% of the population.
Total exposure is likely much higher. In the long term there isn’t much you can do to stop it.
We are actually better off getting this over with.
These people who have recovered will no longer have to worry about it.
