He didn't know it was glass from a teleprompter. Think about his spot. There are gunshots, he presumably feels some pain, then he sees blood, secret service jumps on him. If you are in his position it's reasonable to assume you've been shot.
I don't think it effects the election at all. You either like the candidate or you don't.
Let's say Biden was shot, are you going to vote for him now? I'd wager no. Being shot isn't a policy position and doesn't effect who he is.

It's not going to affect the position of all people, but it will affect the position of some. I wouldn't just vote for someone because they got shot, either.
But it seems pretty apparent this going to have an impact somewhere given all the concern around it on the left as far as optics. How much of an effect, I'm not sure.

Im going to tell you something, these safety protocols are rehearsed, People anyalize the area from every angle. the secret service is there a week ahead of time going over the possibilities looking at angles of fire possible shooting positions , anyone who thinks this was ""mistake"" is living in Disney land. This was no god dammed mistake. This is what they do for a living , A team of professionals cant make a mistake like that . Its security 101. The team leader is suspect . No way these things were ""overlooked"" BULL fucking shit! There was no security on the shooters roof because they would have been told no security on that roof .
