Anyone pressure canning meat?
I wanted to stock more meat in the house besides in the freezer. I started looking at store bought canned meat but they are pricey and loaded with salt. So I got on YT to see me options and found/learned how to pressure can it a couple weeks ago. Never canned anything before.
I went to fb marketplace and there was a used pressure canner for almost 1/2 off new.
So far I’ve canned:
De-boned chicken legs
Hamburger
Beef stew. Meat, potatoes, carrots all in 1 jar.
Today is Bourbon Chicken.
Each batch I eat one of the jars to make sure I like it before making lots of it.
