I did see that site, thank you. The reason I asked is many sold seem to be the blued version and there are many different calibers and configuration to this firearm. She is thinking of asking $900. I said that seemed right to me but let me look and ask around. It’s going to some one whom she knows in a round about way as well.
I’ve used this website before as a guide to establish a ballpark figure. Keep in mind that any sold in the last 12-18 months had the covid pricing premium. The gun market seems to be stabilizing now.
I hope this helps.
For me if I was the one buying I would pay $850-1200 depending on how tight the lockup was, how flawless the finish and condition is, and if it comes with box/paperwork etcI did see that site, thank you. For some reason the blues ones seem to command a higher price on these and I thought that was odd to me because typically you’re correct.I would say that $900 to a friend is a fair asking price. Typically An excellent condition Nickel finished gun from any quality gun maker will increase the value around 30% or more over blued versions.
Thanks. The finish is flawless from what I remember. I haven’t seen it in a while and honestly I’m not sure it was ever fired. I think I’ll tell her to ask $1,000 unless some one says differently on here over the next day or so. Thanks. Any idea on price. I looked up the serial number and this is what it says. The Mark V is much less common than the more numerous Mark III revolvers.
