For those of you buying powder and primers, and ammo, as it slowly becomes available, I'm curious as to the lot #'s and when it was manufactured. Is it all "new", within the past few months? Or is it N.O.S?

They're a tiny bit harder. That's about it. Fine to use in other calibers. They may sit above flush in the pistol calibers though.
At this point in time NOS may actually be better than new considering QC has been slipping a bit lately.

My plan is to use them for my 300 Blackout AR. Like @gun_slinger_boy said, they're harder primers to prevent slam fires with free floating firing pins (no spring retention) like in the AR and even the M1 Garand. These hardly ever occur unless there are other discrepancies like a poorly seated primer (partially obstructed primer pocket) or too long of an overall length of your bullet, et al. You either have to be really unlucky or really horrible at reloading to get a slam fire.
FWIW, mine were Lot Code D01C101 which translates to April 1st (joke's on America), 2021, Lot 101.

I saw a lot of primers yesterday at the gun show in Fayetteville, NC. Unfortunately they were made of gold as the prices ranges from .17- .35 cents each.
I scored some from Powder Valley the week before last. .06 ea plus shipping and haz mat.
