Primers. What are you doing about them?

So right now this is the most difficult thing to get for reloading. Or maybe I should say the most difficult thing to get at a reasonable price. I have my share of everything I need but I also understand that resupply may not come anytime soon. Maybe never? So I've resorted to making my own. Here are my first 10. A little tedious but with batch processing and improving on the process itself I should be churning them out no problem. I made 2 before these and tested them with success. Discuss.

For me personally no. I have a ton of them. For some reason I saved them when I first started reloading. No clue why but now I know!

So now I have to go through a one gallon milk jug of scrap primers and sort them. Great.

For the most part I used this kids process. I only tried it to see if it would indeed work. No waiting for anything to come in the mail and just went to the hardware store. But the process of getting the explosive compound is tedious this way. And you're left with gunpowder you can't load because you don't know what it is. I suppose you could do a workup lol. Now that I know it works I ordered the ingredients to make the compound from the second video.

I only saved a bucket of maybe 20,000

Like anything else it's all about how you want to spend your time. Nowadays most will be doing alot less shooting. So to make up for that you can spend time making ammo and ammo components. Anything beats the hell out of watching the trash that's on tv though.
