Pro gun Democrats?

I'm just wondering with the Democrats all tripping over each other to see who can be the most anti gun and pro confiscation, aren't there some pro gun pro 2a (non fudd) Democrat voters out there?

I remember when we took a peek at that other board that will remain nameless that there were many there who claimed to have Democrat ideas but were pro gun and didn't believe us when we said the Dems are going to come for you guns.

What do people like that do now? Surely there has to be some people leaving the Democrat party over the issue of gun rights correct? Are there people leaving the left over this issue?

If they leave the Democratic Party they will have no power to change the Democratic Party back into something for The People.

However, if they remain, yet vote for the lesser evil in Primaries, and vote for Republicans in General, they can make a difference.


It's fun to vote against Cuomo and Hillary twice.

I mean I am officially registered as a Dem, but that’s only to vote in their primaries.

What do actual democrats who are pro-gun do? I think they don’t really care, or else they wouldn’t be democrats. Politics is multifaceted and each issue has a certain amount of weight. They probably have guns weighted relatively low, whereas for your average Repub guns are weighted more heavily. So while they may not like the policy they justify it.

I know several pro gun dems. Guns just aren't their primary concern. They are dems because they support the overall agenda. When it comes to gun legislation, they either ignore it or speak their mind hoping to have an impact, just like everyone with an opinion. I am a republican but I don't agree with 100% of the republican agenda.

Pro gun democrats are just like pro life democrats. They exist in the shadows and don't speak up. They will never be allowed to have positions of authority within the party. And it doesn't matter to them because they believe republicans are the truly evil ones.

Just like the dingbat marianne williamson found out, her own side treats her more harshly than her republican opponents. Yet the light bulb never goes off in their head that maybe, just maybe, there is something seriously wrong with the intolerance of the democratic party.

I don’t think the majority of democrats are as far left as these asshats running for president. They see a chance to get elected on these far left principles because of the hate for trump. They are taking the leap and it’s a big leap.

I hope you are right. But I'm not sure. There are a lot of very vocal Uber fringe left socialists out there and others who will follow party orders or what manipulated social media alogrhythems tell them to do

In light of the current spokespeople for the democrat party with their open and vociferous anti-constitutional stance, anti-American stance, plus a decidedly pro-socialism, even communistic, stance, I have to believe that anyone claiming to be a democrat is okay with that. So Gun owner or not, they clearly cannot be a friend of the Bill of Rights.
