Here's one - don't EVER take out the front pivot pin of an AR15 unless you want that spring and cap to shoot about 8000 miles and if that does happen you can kiss off ever finding it.

seeing a photo of the guts and parts placement can help enormously!

use channel locks, wrap the jaws in electrical tape. easier/safer that driving them with a hammer and punch and close to impossible to scratch the receiver or break off the trigger guard tabs on an ar lower
