Props to Glock Customer Service

My wife's G42 had a pretty heavy trigger that was causing her to pull down/shoot low consistently. Had acceptable take up but required considerable pressure to break the shot. Glock website says G42 has a 5.5lb trigger pull - this one had consistently between 8.5 to 9 lbs.

Called Glock CS and they emailed me a prepaid Fedex label to ship it back to them. Sent it Last Friday 11/4 and got it back yesterday 11/11 - exactly 1 week turnaround. Replaced the trigger housing with ejector and the connector no charge. Trigger pull feels much better but need a gauge to measure.

The only negative was I had to drop it off at the Newburgh distribution center as the regular stores won't accept firearms. Was a small inconvenience for such great service.

They have some of the best customer service out there. The 2 times I've dealt with them (minor things), they were nothing but courteous, helpful and fast moving.

A friend of mine just had a great experience with S&W recently. He bought a brand new M&P 9mm. The magazine would not drop unless he pushed up on it while pushing the button. He sent it in, it came back a week later fixed. No charge

It seems like most of the shooting related companies have great customer service. S&W, Taurus, RCBS and Lee have all been great when I've delt with them. Ruger replaced the stock on a shotgun for a coworker who inadvertently had it fall out of his truck - and they wouldn't let him pay for it. I can't think of another industry that treats its customers like that.

Gotta say, and sure as hell will probably jinx me, but I've only ever had to deal with customer service once (Ruger) and made good by sending me a brand new gun free of charge when the one I sent back didn't work properly. Big props to Ruger for that. All the rest of my purchases have worked flawlessly (more or less).

I just called Glock with a technical question on the Gen 5 22 regarding what sights to use, and I was quite surprised when a real person answered on the first ring. She transferred me to a guy and he answered my question right away. Wasn't expecting that. Seems like everyone makes you go through about 7 automated menus these days.
