This is what I don't understand. We're sitting on here, saying it's getting worse, acknowledging our gov is stepping WAY outside the bounds of what it was intended for, and we're not in any way making serious effort to support each other or come together. That includes me as well.
At a certain point we have to expend some degree of energy to organize properly here and carve a reasonable path forward. We have to have our own interests in mind if the gov doesn't -- vaccine stuff totally aside.

I don't know about that. It almost happened with the Bundy's over grazing rights. If the Bureau of Land Managment or another fed agency there took a shot, militia would have returned fire. What is different today is that the government has become way more overt in it's intentions and heavy handedness. People are being pushed into a corner and threatened with loss of livelyhood and freedom. What's missing is a specific event that draws people together like with the whole Bundy thing. Lock downs and isolation have been the norm for most of the past year. Covid restrictions have so far proved to be effective at keeping such an event from happening.
