Then i used on in a 3 gun match. That was when i decided the MPX was far better.

I just could not get used to the MP5 controls. And it is heavier.

I guess i still want one......

At that price why wouldn't you purchase an MPX instead? I can see wanting an MP5 clone for the nostalgic cool factor but nostalgia should not extend to $1900 for a semi auto clone. The H&K roller locked action, as utilized in the G3/MP5, is obscelecent after all. <gets popcorn and nomex suit ready>

Palmetto State Armory is producing a MP-5 clone in Q1 of 2019. They're shooting for a $1000 price tag. I had a friend confirm it at SHOT show.

Well I had originally heard it was going to be around $900, but the folks at the PSA booth say it's going to be closer to $1000. It is a super deal, especially if it's going to be made in the U.S., but I'm not sure about that. Hopefully by Q1 of 2019 I'll be residing in a State with more freedom. From the photo it looks decent, but then again, who displays crap in their booth at SHOT show?
