I found the firearm I'd like but it comes with 20 Rd mags. As much as I'd like them I know I won't get them. Is there certain way to go about this or find what I want with what I need?

Make sure the firearm has ten rounders available then simply message the seller before bidding. Ask him to swap mags out or simply keep the twenty rounders out of the deal.

A couple years ago I was buying a used pistol from a guy out of state.
He had a standard capacity magazine for it. I looked into having the receiving FFL/gunsmith pin the magazine to 10 rounds and they wanted more money than I could buy a 10 rounder for.

if you know your FFL, talk to them. you have much better chance of working a deal with a person you will make many transaction with instead of some Random!

I know a guy that bought a gun online that had multiple 20 rounders that went with it, the gun went to a FFL and the mags ended up mailed to his house. I forget his name, That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
