You need a card or pistol permit. Might be worth getting one if you don't already.

No I meant to call today but got home too late. They also have 50 different numbers and I'm not sure which one to call.

I called the Danbury PD and the lady was nice enough to give me a good number to call. If anyone wants the CT application for non resident call

? CT non resident carry permits are handled by CTSP. You call them, you get the form in the mail within a week! By law, and they adhere to it, they have 90 days to process your app, background included. They either grant or deny within 90... Is that simple!

3 weeks. Amendment snail mailed 10/4. I got a call from the clerk's office on 10/14 -- I'd forgotten to check the box at the bottom of the amendment. She checked the box for me after confirming I hadn't been arrested, etc. Coupon came today, 10/26. Judge signed it on 10/20.

Speaking of this. Think I put mine in on the 20th of October with no movement. Maybe Ill try calling or possibly just dropping by the office. I know they cashed my $3 check so clearly they got it.....

Called last week and they seemed like they were annoyed I even thought to ask. Permit in my hand today…… they must just have a stack of these things chilling in the office.
Im waiting for my amendment for over 5 months in westchester cty. 3 or 4 weeks and you asking questions .. lol.. be patient like i have to be. And if you get yours in 15 weeks be greatfull! Good luck.

The coupon I just received took a month. During that month, two things happened: they went back and forth with my FFL about the correct description of the pistol (I didn't know this until I picked up the pistol), and Thanksgiving. Still only just over four weeks.
My FFL is in Orange County and he said there you're looking at 6 months. Sounds the same in Westchester.
Yes, it always takes longer than we would prefer, but I think Putnam has it pretty good.

My last one in Westchester a few weeks ago took 3 weeks to add one and remove 3. They made a mistake and didn't remove everything I submitted. I called, they pulled the paperwork and the corrected one was in my mailbox the next day. I wonder why some people's take so long and some don't.

15 days. Mailed amendment 9/6, judge signed 9/15 and I received coupon on 9/21.

I have no idea. According to my FFL that NYS police thing started 9/13. Since judge signed it 9/15, maybe I got through just in the nick of time. That has to be it, no? No way it would come back this quickly, otherwise.
