Putnam County - live fire course options?

Wife and I have the list from the court but wondering if anyone can recommend a live fire course?

Long story with some withheld tmi but Reitz gave her Target, and alledgely told her she needs to do live fire and buy a safe within 90 days. Without a permit she will need somewhere she can borrow or rent a pistol.

Meanwhile in BD land... nothing on my permit since my interview in... August.

I would highly recommend the force on Force class with stretz tactical. Now that's not live-fire, but it's an awesome class to take. We are also quite lucky living in this area that we have some very good trainers.

wait just a cotton picking minute .. Per NY law .. over 18 or 21 some age like that with no permit you can't shoot a pistol period !!!!!!! .. or even touch one .. per the law .. so how can you do a shoot to qualify to get one ??? .. oh yeah break the law LMAO

only persons under age on a sanctioned range can hold and shoot a pistol .. over a age you can't touch one ..

why i yell out i'm a felon every time i'm asked to get my buds wife's purse from the car when i go out for a smoke ..

Reitz is requiring a safe? You have children or anyone else in the home that shouldn't have access? It's not in the NY State Penal Law, ie, lawfully required! Neither is the "Live Fire"...

Legislating from the bench is reprehensible... Heard Reitz was a good guy, but this example says otherwise. It appears the recent judicial moves sensing the other two judges to Putnam County was with purpose and has had an effect.

Putnam will soon be the new "Westchester North"... Wait for it...

I had a small safe already when I got my permit . I took a picture of the safe and pic of the bolts holding it down and that was enough.

So... on a related note. I am about a week from being 17 months waiting on my permit (dropped off day before Thanksgiving 2016). I have heard nothing at all since my interview- in early August 2017. What to do? Is it possible they're waiting on my wife getting her situation straightend out (since we have the same address)?

We did buy a safe and she is trying to schedule her course soon.
