Putnam Man Charged for an Imitation Revolver

A Putnam County man was forced to the ground, arrested and charged after allegedly displaying an imitation revolver during a dispute outside a Patterson condominium complex, Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley, Jr. announced.

A Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Fox Run Condominium Complex shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, where there was a report of a dispute where an imitation handgun was displayed.

He was charged with menicing, which he did. Threatening someone with a fake gun is illegal and a good way to get shot. I suppose what would make a difference is whether it was an airsoft replica or an orange nerf gun.
