That’s cool. Thanks for posting. I’ve always wanted to get into forging and knife making. Just too busy right now. Retirement project. That is after I retire from my part time job in a few years.

I make them now every once in a while out of old used up reciprocating saw blades. Super easy to do if you have a bench grinder and a descent knife sharpener. I wrap the handles in paracord. I even leave the saw backing on a few that way they are dual purpose for cutting and could be used as a saw. It’s a fun fast little project. I have even blued some.
I forgot about them and left them on the counter one day and my wife threw them in a plant pot o had and put them in a cabinet. She had friends over and one of her friends little ones was playing with the Tupperware just banging it together. Well the cabinet next to the Tupperware one had my home made knives. Her friends less than 2 year old was running around with them. The mom was cool about it thankfully.
