Did the person commit any crimes with the gun? If NO, then there should be no DNA investigation needed."On May 5, 2021, around 2:20 PM, the State Police responded to a three-car crash on the westbound Southern State Parkway near Exit 22N"
"Through investigative efforts by the Troop L Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Identification Unit, in addition to laboratory analysis, investigators were able to determine through the use of DNA that Herring was the possessor of the weapon and removed it from our community.
On December 2, 2022, Herring was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, a C – Felony."
wonders how much that DNA investigation Costs the Taxpayers ?
Did the person commit any crimes with the gun? If NO, then there should be no DNA investigation needed.
However, if that same person were to bring that gun into a gun buyback event, nothing would happen, even though their DNA was all over it.
This state wastes so much money and resources!
