I couldn't find the news article anywhere but some co-workers sent me screenshots today.
The guy is the Executive Director of the NYC Regional Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee.
While I firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment and believe that NYC/NYS law regarding AR's are ridiculous, why anyone would put their professional career in jeopardy is stupid, especially on this scale. I'm sure that 90% of the charges are exaggerated, but it's so easy to get your permit in NYC these days, why do stupid shit like this? Granted, it wouldn't have saved him from the "ghost gun and "high-capacity magazine" charges, but I doubt the list would have been so extensive.
