Question about new "sensitive places" law.

Ive been hearing that a private company must have a sign saying it allows concealed carry. But, the law actually states a sign OR "otherwise has given express consent."
Express consent can be in writting.
MOST stores have online "rules" which clearly state that "no UNLAWFUL firearms, you must have proper license to carry"...... or something to that affect.
For instance.....Walmart, Wegmans, McDonald's..... and many more say this.
So, does this mean we can CC in these places even if they do not have a sign?
I will include the actual law from the states own website, the Wegmans policy as stated in an email from corporate, its difficult to find any actual " rule" from these places online but there is plenty of info when searched for. Walmart has stopped open carry but say they have NOT stopped their long held CC rule....which says the same as Wegmans........Cc if you are properly licensed. And a couple definitions of expressed consent.

I would say you’re good to go at wegmans.
You have otherwise been given expressed consent and I would say it is not clear to you that they don’t want them there at this point since you have word from them saying it’s GTG.

They've given you a political answer that actually doesn't say anything.
"Must comply with all local, state, and federal laws" just means don't do it illegally. You do not have "express consent" to bring a gun there.

Just walked 2 feet in front of a sheriff serving as a security guard in uniform in one of my local grocery stores. Concealed is Concealed. There is absolutely no reason to comply with this shit upstate.

Went to the nys fair yesterday. Scanners at the entrance. I really have little issue as every person goes through it. Keeps the riff raff carrying out right along with me. The funny thing was you couldn't carry a pocket knife but you could buy them in the fair. If everyone is checked it's one thing. Stores don't scan everyone and have armed security. The must have been a couple hundred purple ties there.

I dont think they are giving any consent, they are being tricky here. If they dont put a sign up it is illegal to carry there. So if he walks in with a concealed weapon he is doing so illegally.

Its hanging near the restroom going into their break room. Im assuming its for employees, but anyone can read it. Its like 6 pages of tiny writing but its in there.
Again, this is just talking.....nothing has changed in the way I go through life on a daily basis. And this is also online somewhere but im too lazy to look.

This email was not directed too me, its just something I found online.
But, exactly what she said in the email is in their "terms of service" and policy online and hanging in their store.
These have been their rules, as well as Walmart for many years.
Walmart website specifically says they "ask customers to not carry openly", but CC is good if properly licensed.
I assume when NYS says "or express consent", they mean you must have a personalized letter stating that " Joe Smith has our consent to carry a weapon in our store", but the law clearly just says a sign, OR "express consent".
Going by the definition of express consent, it can be given "" verbally or written".
Opposed to implied consent which would be you ASSUMING its ok because there is not a sign saying you cant. Which obviously is not at issue here.

Let whatever happens happens, but I won't be reaching to my holster to find it empty heaven forbid I should ever need it, let alone with what the fuck is going on any more in this State in regard to crime!
